I seem to be fielding more and more PM's from all parties involved so I would like to take a moment to discuss the situation at hand. I would like you to keep this topic civil, or your replies will be deleted.
First let me say this, I don't take sides on issues such as this and i have no intention of making an exception in this case. Furthermore, this forum runs the way it does because rules are enforced laterally, wut i mean is the same set of rules applies to everyone, no exceptions.
I have allowed various posts even against complaints from either party as it is my policy to allow both sides to plead their case, i have even allowed the personal insults as i figured it was two upset parties and these things are inevitable.
Today more or less took the cake, I am not going in to details, but i get a message from both sides of the fence which say almost the exact same thing........... where does that put me? If you said "in the middle" then you are correct and that's not a place I am going to be.
So on this rare occasion I am going to ask for your input at this point in time I am leaning towards deleting the "personal attacks" as it does violate the rules and it seems to be escalating. However seeing as both parties are new hear it seems that this action will probably be seen as taking sides, i am interested in your opinion.
The rules as it sits are that no personal attacks will be tolerated and I think for everyone to feel comfortable it's probably something i should enforce in this case and it only seems to be escalating. Wuts a personal attack? Things like "you are a dumbshit" "go **** yourself" "yer mom's a *****" "yer a fat ****' etc.... who decide's wuts a personal attack... simple, me and the other staff members.
So you guys tell me, do you want me to start axing the personal attacks.... keeping in mind that it will be enforced against all equally? OR do you want me to let it be and you guys dish it out and take it? That means no PM's saying he said this and i said this and we said this, etc, etc..... quite honestly the only reason i havent given a **** is i am lazy and it's too much trouble to sift through the poo, but if i am going to see an extra 15 to 20 pm's a day regarding the issue it becomes less of a workload to delete it.

in my eyes if you can give it you should take it all the same, however i was reading a thread that mentioned a shop owners wife. now due to the fact that a person involved in a company no matter how much loved or hated this company is should conduct thereselves in a much much more professional level, because if they are this way in a public forum imagine the way this shop is run. i for one do not want to do buisnes with someone who has this manorizim. well thats just my 2 cent.

I don't really want to get into specifics as to how people should or shouldn't conduct themselves, reality is if everyone conducted themselves as they hypothetically "should" we prolly wouldnt be having this conversation.
Me, personally when people are sligning that kind of **** at me i just write them off, it usually puts the person tossing the poo in worse light then the one getting smacked with the poo.
Like i said, my only motivation for this post is so that I am not finding myself more and more in the middle of it. Whenever you throw out the response of being able to dish it out and take it, then it immediately goes to "he started it" "no she started it" and yet again i find myself the referee in a fight that i dont want to be involved in.

If your talking about this thread then one of them is there for only one reason and that is to start something. The car in the photo belongs to a particular person and there is only one family of persons that have a grudge against that person; know one else dislikes the owner of the car. The other people in the thread are only reacting to try and protect, so please take that into consideration when deciding to punish anyone. Yes someone needs to be punished but that is fortunately not my call. Good luck on this one.

Well 99 0/0 of the name calling in here falls into the category of "if you can dish it out be ready to take it" But the big stick needs to come out when the 1 0/0 get out of hand and there is a history of personal malice towards someone. I hope i said it better this time.

There has to be room in any rules for the day to day stuff or it becomes dictatorship, but on the other hand there also has to be good judgement when it comes to the extremes. Which in my opinion (for what it's worth) that is the real question here.

me myself thinks it's funny. i think if it STAYS in the nw section and you can dish it. take it. if not, go home. it's good to see kathy venting out. i think she should have vented along time ago instead of just cry to people. just my 2 cents.

#1 she stood up for kettlman. " her best friend" and let a few post slide.
#2 CB2 has made some really good friends @ the rx7club.
#3 when she got fired as mod there. "$kathys doing$" a vast amount of people followed her here. not wanting anything to do with the atkins sponsored nw section.
#4 yeah kathys hurt because she wishes she had true friends like that
