Drama? Nitpickers? Gossip? I think what you're experiencing is simply the effects of a backslidden society, and it doesn't stop just at the workplace either....

You're right! None of these things even existed until recently. Drama in the 1920's? Unheard of! Nitpickers in the 1880's? Unthinkable! Gossip in the time of Julius Caesar? Ridiculous!

yes drama was invented in a lab, at ucla in 1971. its first use was in the TV show "three's company"
