Terrain plays a huge factor. The area calculation I made was for a perfectly flat piece of land and this land is far from flat. The property owner was not willing to pay for a topographic survey dense enough to ascertain the EXACT acreage there for this is a rough number, hence the "more or less".



When measuring landfills for volume we give exact areas. The fee reflects it too.

I understood it. Terramodel had a feature that would write those for me, then I usually had to tweak them a little more.
