What To Get Her For V-day
here's a tip on jewelry:
If she has opal earrings, and an opal ring, get her an opal necklace. They like to have matching sets of stuff. If you're leading up to a proposal, you can give her diamond earrings, a diamond necklace, then wait for the right time to give the ring (over long time period).
But, if you go the jewelry route, don't give too much too soon (I'm talking over the span of 1 or 2 years worth of holidays). Then she gets used to it, you get poor, and you run out of ideas. Save it for the very special dates (anniversary, maybe birthday).
Guys like nakedness and sex to turn them on. It seems that most females are more emotional than physical (romance novels= **** for women). Under this concept, they go crazy over sentimental stuff. I've noticed that women like stuff that's expensive but doesn't last. For some reason that goes hand-in-hand with sentimentality. Like candles, soaps, perfumes, flowers, chocolates, expensive food: they are pricey, but are gone in a short time. It's not practical, but they seem to like it. I guess I need to do some shopping, or something.

Ok... New idea on jewelry. This'll be a surprise... I'll buy her a small hoop earring... and right about the time she asks what the hell it's for, we'll be pulling into the tatoo parlor to get her hood pierced! SWEET!!! I'm SO smart!!!
Hope she likes a little pain...

i love the subtle things that are not *expected*
how about a pearl every year? then on your 50th wedding anniversary, you can give her a string to put them on!
that was meant to be a joke, but now thinking about it, that's not such a bad idea...assuming you get her something else

OH LORD...I am female get her a single rose not a dozen cause they die to fast anyways. Try the cooking thing. What's her favorite thing in the whole world? She like a certain movie? Buy the movie and watch it without complaining. Candles are great and even bath salts and moisturizers are great as gifts but you have to use them on her. Pamper the hell out of her make the day all about her. Take it from me this is great to be rubbed down by my otherhalf. It is even better when I don't have to ask him to do it for me. Stuffed animals are for teenagers so don't go the bear route unless it has a ring on it's paw. Hope my female advise has helped
