Dinner in the city on Broadway Row....$100.00
After dinner walk over to the theater and see a play...($90 per person for nice seats)
Reserve a room in the city at a 5 star hotel...($150 for the night)
That's it...
I did this last year and it was a blast, we saw Beauty and the Beast...
The key is not to let her know what you are doing next...

Louis, thanks MUCHO for the prep tips for the sushi. I think I'll still go for the champagne w/strawberries too. Sounds good.
And I will DEFINATELY give her a good dickdown. Hell, she likes it better if it's hard... Not that making love crap. Even if it IS valentines day...

Just thought i'd give my opinion since I have no current life.....
I always always ALWAYS stay away from jewelery. For most guys, it's the hardest thing in the world to select. For women, they already have a set idea of what looks good and what they want. Chances are, too, that at some point in the relationship she has already shown or hinted to you what sort of styles she likes. Chances are, too, that you missed the subtle hints. This is epsecially true if your woman likes to browse through wedding mags and talk to you about the different materials, patterns, styles, etc. DO NOT BUY JEWELERY FOR THESE KIND OF WOMEN BECAUSE CHANCES ARE YOU WON'T KNOW WHAT SHE ALREADY WANTS AND THE MONEY WILL ONLY BE WASTED! If you have ever given her anything that seemed like a good gift and only ended up decorating the back of a drawer then you know what I am talking about.
Also, if you buy something such as earrings, remember that pretty soon she will need matching bracelets, purse, shoes, outfit, etc. to accessorize.
It's very good to keep her on her toes and make the whole nite a surprise. The anticipation can make an above-average night seem even better. They want to see that you care to go to trouble, but don't want you to remind them of how much the tickets cost, or how long you had to wait for this or that, or how hard it was to make your own sushi.
The most important thing to realize is that you need to emphasize the little things but not to dwell on them too much.
Good luck gentlemen :bigok:
Oh yeah, it could be just me but it seems like the more "experienced" your partner is then the harder you have to work.
