Well, I was thinking a nice set of diamond earrings... Or a pendant of some sort... Maybe 2 bills. Nothing to big... Bottle of wine and some sushi..

I asked her friend what to get her... (This is like her best friend) She said a card and dinner. She said girls LOVE a thoughtful card... WTF? Am I lost? A little help please..

r_xplicit 02-09-2003 11:52 AM

dude, you should cook for her....i can walk you through anything if you need it. a nice bottle of red wine with dinner and then some chocolate & a glass of champagne with a half of a strawberry in it is the numero uno after dinner aphrodisiac......i promise.....definately get her a card, and put some **** in it, but not too cheesy, it begins to seem like you are desperate.....hmmm.....maybe even a cheap ploy for sex....well, IT IS....but if you are like me, and have a good woman, you can get it anytime you want.

try the dinner, you KNOW that restaurants are gonna be busy...FO real....they will be hectic and crowded.

cook for her. it is intimate, private, and hand made by you. that shows that you are making the extra effort to please and impress her.....

That's a little overkill for v-day dude, your setting a trend in motion that's gonna cost you your fuggin savings every time a holiday comes around.

I am goin corny, chocolates ($30), roses ($30) and a bottle of wine.

r_xplicit 02-09-2003 11:55 AM

dinner & some champagne w/ a card is not overkill....or...were you talking about the earrings....if so, you are right, which is why i suggested the dinner and ****...

trust me my ex-wife got too accustomed to the **** i gave her, and trust me, it was not my fault, she was an only child that was raised as if she was a princess, fine or not, she had GO!

phinsup 02-09-2003 11:59 AM

Yea I Was talking about the earrings dude, yer post wasn't there yet.

r_xplicit 02-09-2003 12:00 PM

i am getting my girl a bottle of hershey's chocolate sauce and some redi-hwip in a can.......that way, i get WHAT I WANT...

9BASE3 02-09-2003 12:03 PM

Ok. Sweet. No earrings... I'll keep that $$ for my Konis.

Louis... As for the dinner... She's half Japanese... And loves sushi & **** like that.. Personally never prepared sushi... sure I could. I'm competant in the kitchen at least. What would you recommend? And for a decent champagne?

I'm not too worried as far as being cheesy in the card... She knows I don't need to beg... :smirk:

I just wanna give her a nice V-day... You know... Show I give a rip.

okay, can you guys give an idea for something really good to cook? I can cook reasonably well, but I'm terrible at figuring out what to make

r_xplicit 02-09-2003 12:16 PM

justin,

if she loves sushi, it is really easy to make. and, i bet if you go to the local sushi place, they will sell you some prepared rice. then, all you need to do is go to the closest asian market and but some nori/seaweed papers. they are like 3$ and are like 10"x10". you will only really need one or two packs..get some japanese mayonnaise, wasabi in a tube and then figure out what fish she like on it best. imitation crab is what the sushi places use, and smoked salmon is a big hit too. also, buy a cucumber and maybe some pickled ginger if yall like that too. then, but a bamboo sushi roller and you are ready to go to town....

you will need a little water, and then lay all your ingredients ou tdo that you can see them....

start by setting the bamboo roller down and then put a sheet of the seaweed wrapper down. then, wet your fingers up with some water and get a good handfull of the rice and spread the rice about half and inch thick over the whole thing, leaving about 1 inch of the wrapper uncovered, across the top. then, about 1 inch from the bottom of the wrapper, spread a little jap mayo and a little wasabi across the rice width-wise, and then lay some of the KRAB or salmon or even just the cucumber, ****, or some of all of it across the same way that you did the mayo, and then roll from the bottom [closest to you] towards the end with a little of the seaweed uncovered and then seal it by wetting your finger and closing it all up....

you can slice it any way that you want....hope that this helped......i can assist further if you need it....
