It's been a long few days, the server move was anything but smooth. We had planned on taking the big boat out this weekend, but the weather was not playing fair, was only about a 5 knot wind, the big boat doesn't sail in 5 knots and we didn't feel like burnin diesel.



Was a damn nice sail, all the new parts I made worked great, this was the first run with the new rudder, tiller and dagger board. Just did a little 4 mile sail or so. We did actually manage to hit a sandbar which was cool, the dinghy draws like a foot or so with the dagger board down. We thought that was pretty funny. We also raced a guy under engine power in a little inflatable.



Next weekend should be interesting here at the marina, there's a big race that ends here. we got invited to the race, but I'm not a big racer, too many rules and not relaxing.

They did.



So we went out yesterday, sailed about two miles out and the wind just shut off, turned around and headed back, it was a SLOW sail back, definitely a test of skills!
