Oh wow, this is the first time I've seen this thread. Holy crap this is hilarious! It seems thafox has more going for him than just an apostrophe useage problem. He ought to bone up on his skill''''''s'''. http://www.apostrophe.fsnet.co.uk/

I have seen under the hood of a V10 Dodge Ram, and it did have two sets of coil packs; one for a 4 cylinder, and the other for a 6. I guess I can see how that could be misconstrued by the less mentally inclined to believe the V10 somehow magically has the cranks of an I4 and a V6, both working together resulting in a balanced rotating assembly with only five pistons in each bank... er sort of. I must admit I'm not very accomplished when it comes to anything with more cylinders than 8, but I find it difficult to imagine a functioning engine with some inline cylinders and some in a 60° configuration. Oh well, there are a lot of ricers out there that believe a family sedan can be made into a uh sports car, or something, with enough stickers, neon, naws etc. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised at this point.

im sure they took the time to join together a i4 and i6 crank, and to magically make a neon and caravan ecu work together in any way shape or form.

Exactly. That was the very first thing that popped into my mind when I saw it. It never even once crossed my mind that the V10 might have internal parts from a 4 or a 6 though.

I also herd is this true, that the Viper has a twin spark timing or someshit like that, which makes 2 or the10 cylinders fire at the exact same time so technically its a 5 cylinder.

technically its a 10 cylinder, theoretically it functions like a 5 cylinder.
