I meant to imply that by reading your description of the car's weight and brake set-up that it must stop on a dime. I'm not sure if that is what you got out of it. Just thought I would clarify.

If its a rotory 7, you are the man!
Not a rotary 7 I'm afraid, (although technically I could still choose what engine to put in it) I'm going with motorbike power instead to keep the weight down and for the sequential gearbox I would definitely consider rotary though if petrol here wasn't so expensive and there were more donors around here (Ireland).

I hate to say it, but I was beat in a time trial by 0.06sec by a Locost running a 1200cc motorcycle engine and gear box. I think it was 700lbs! I helped the guy lift the front of it up onto jackstands for him to make some adjustment in the paddock.



That thing was quick.

Bloody hell that is light!!!! I thought I'd be doing well if I get it below 500kgs (1100lbs). I honestly can't imagine the speed that car must go (and yours by the looks of things).
