ALRIGHT, assuming I can pass emissions on Thursday and get new tags, I'm gonna pick up a case of royal purple (d'oh!) for the drive. If it gets too shitty I'll have to work something out with someone that has some twins there.

There's a tiny bit of oil on the floor of the garage, coming from the motor mount area. Also, I noticed that when I stop quick I see a little bitty bit of smoke come through the vents in the hood on the pass. side - I'm wondering if a turbo feed is leaking. I'll try to check it all out tomorrow.. Trying NOT to stay home.

Did you just change the oil by any chance? If you're like me you overfilled the oil, causing massive blow by out the catch can. The smoke you see is the oil being slung on the exhaust from the leak. You can also give a quick tighten on the motor mount bolts and see if that does anything.
