Well ladies, after my nice, long drive through the city on Sunday night, I seem to have managed to consume two quarts of oil in a mere 300 miles. Now I'm wondering if I can make it to the BBQ. I noticed a bit of smoke all of a sudden when leaving the lights. Hmmm.. whatchu all think?

Make sure your crankcase isn't getting pressurized before doing anything drastic maybe. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png

Crank.. case?
You think I'm blowing oil out because of overpressurization of the system? I dunno.. stock turbos.. 72688 miles... |
It's pretty cheap and easy to check though huh? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png I agree it's unlikely.

remove the oil cap and see if the smoke stops.
|
Damnit. 2qts in 300 miles....Is it dripping anywhere on the ground or you think just going out the exhaust? And do you see smoke all the time or just around 4500rpm when going WOT?
|
If you burnt that much oil you'd be seeing TONS of smoke. Whats it look like under the car?
