You don't have a say in buying a car? That's crap and you know it. If you wanted to own a car yourself then pay the money for it and stop whining. You can't get it taken away if you own it, pay insurance and gas, etc. Plus, since it's a punishment, maybe you should accept it? I mean, how exactly are you getting back at your dad by getting crap grades? He already has a job, do you? He's probably trying to help you learn a lesson of some sort, and if you don't like his rules, you can always move out... No one says you HAVE to keep living there and not own you own car. You choose to do it, and get a free car (which can be taken away for punishment as it is a privelage) - thus, you are spoiled.

 

no, i dont have a say in buying myself a car, because i put all the money i earn from my job into the bank, and he took 2.5K of that and put it into a different account which i cant touch till i graduate college, or until im 25. and whoever said i was trying to get back at hi with my grades?? i would hardley consider getting a car that you dont want being spoiled.
