Also you need to think that this is your life you are in control of. You are setting a foundation for future sucess. Its your responsibility to make the life you want to live. Look at me, i'm 24 and have a house, 2 mini's, a 3rd gen, and we'll say took an "early retirement" to go back to school to fly planes for the rest of my life. I took control and made it happen how I wanted it. Leave everyone else out, its all up to you.

Just remember, no matter how bad it sucks for you, it allways sucks more for someone else.

Like me.

Seriously though, Highschool is a bitch but you have to suck it up and dominate. Put in the work there and it will make the future so much easier. Ace junior and senior year and score high on the placement exams, and colleges will come to you. I didnt even have to pay the app fee for CSM, they came to me asking me to go there. And remember, when you get into college, you get OUT of your parents house.

Or you could be in my situation. I'm supposedly smart but it doesn't mean crap. I only have 6500 in scholarships right now and i didn't get the Regents scholarship, so i don't really care about school anymore.

A 3.96, ranked 5th out of 265, and a 30 on my ACT, and what does it do to help me? NOTHING.

Moral of the story, even if you do good in school it doesn't matter.

no offence but that aptitude test is a joke. My one buddy isnt fit to lick a toilet seat and it told him he could work in anything he wanted because he had alot of intellect.

This same guy showed up to school wearing his pants backwards, more than once.

I don't understand what your complaining about. 6500 is a lot of money. About 6500 more than I got.

It's not very much when you're under a lot of pressure from your parents and everyone you know either has full tuition or a full ride to any instate college.

Youre going to have to suck it up and show the world what youre really made of sometime. Why not start now? The world is at your fingertips, all you need to do is reach out and grab it.
