Were any of you awake for the procedure?
I was and it was more violent than a skull ****.
1. 5 shots of novacaine
2. wait 10 minutes
3. Doctor walks over says nothing and punches what looks like an ice pick into the middle of tooth making it crack into peices.
4. Pulls out 45° pliers and grabs tooth
5. Nurse chimes in my jaw is too extended. Doctor stops abruptly.
6. Nurse asks me to close my jaw slightly.
7. Doctor pulls with everyhting he has and his pliers hit the roof of my mouth as he rips my tooth from my jaw.
8. Doctor walks away never saying a single word.
9. nurse cleans my gaping hole shoves gauze into it smiles and says I am done.
10. I ask about pain and doctor says "Give home 30 Oxycottons".
11. I declare my love for doctor.
Then end.

I swear to god! My back actually popped while I was on that I was NEVER so relaxed in my life...... well I am close right now with this 151.
That is an amazing combo. I never slept so good in my life. Now I know why people break into clinics trying to get more Oxycottons.

As long as you don't try and do anything that involves suction (smoking, giving head, etc) drysocket should be no problem. I had it too after I had my wisdom out, I thought I was going to die...

One less health issue you don't have to worry about. You didn't miss much. Me, 94t, Benzalee (over on evil) got together and did some work on Ben's car. Went to a coffee shop on Peoria. That and we had some grilling action going on... 94t Even made some banana smores thingy...new to me

Oh hey, I don't think I ever posted about my experience after having them taken out on December 23rd.....
Well, it went great.
Absolutely (Positively) ZERO pain and ZERO swelling. EVERY SINGLE PERSON i know that had it done, at LEAST got yellow/bruised cheeks that swelled up...plus they were in some form of pain.
Me and my brother got it done the same day. We were eating Steak the next day (Christmas eve dinner!) and Chicken Parmesan on christmas day.
Needless to say, everyone else was jealous of us, but I almost called it. I shrugged at the odd timing to get it done and said "Ahh, it'll be nothing"...sure was nothing

Well, the drugs have worn off enough for me to get back to life, although talking still hurts and smiling makes me frown. At some point during the operation, I kicked my shoes off...I was trying to walk to the zombie room, which is the post anesthesia room, and my legs were all heavy like, so I was sashaying like 94t on pride day. All of my teeth except for the bottom left went fairly easy, but the bottom left was impacted and had grew in at a 90 degree angle, i.e horizontally forward. That's the one that sucked the most. Made Krystal pull over on the ride home so I could vomit out the bloody gauze that got stuck in my throat, then got blood all over the inside of her car. She's gonna make me sign an affidavit saying that if I ever turn up dead, that the blood was from today's wisdom tooth adventure, and not from her transporting my dead body to an undisclosed location. Please note not ALL the drugs have worn off yet.
Pretty much thats all I can remember. Oh, and I was waving to people in traffic as we were going home and was FREAKING THEM OUT... I looked at Krystal and she told me that my whole left side of my mouth was bloody.
Verdict: THIS SUCKS.

They wound up having to repack the thing with some red moss looking stuff, it fixed it. Hurt, glad they gave me vicodin.
