I was cruising w/ a buddy of mine and we passed an '87 T2 w/ a for sale sign...so I had him turn around. I got out...at a quick glance...this thing had a really bad paint job...but the body was straight. I read the sticker...it has 88K original miles, and the interior was pretty decent..so I walked up to the store and asked a clerk who was selling it...the guy was out on delivery so I just hung out and waited. When he got back...I caught up to him and started asking him stuff about the car...he was kind of a *****..he was sayin how he restores classic cars, and not rotaries because they weren't worth his time. He was selling the car for a friend...NEways..he said i couldn't drive it unless I was going to buy it and had the cash, I told him I did(lied of course) and he let me take out for a spin...it was solid. Started ok, ran like a champ...and that is the first time I've driven a turbo rotary in a LONG time...it makes me miss my car!!! I know...some of you probably think is was wrong of me, but hey...I'm addicted...thats an excuse, right? BTW..if your in Va, he wants 3200...its not really worth it...but just thought I'd throw that out...
