Correct, Mt. Hood, I hope it doesn't erupt in anyone's lifetime around here, it's only 60 miles away!

ITs due for an erruption soon, and saint hellens has been erupting small ammounts and they predicting a big one on monday. all of the volcanoes are in danger right now because of the Juan de Fuca fault, its a subducting plate off the coast that got stuck some 500 years back, its 500 years of presuusre just building up and when it slips i will be underwater from the massive wave it will create. no one knows when it will slip either since it is so far overdue.

Seattle has two seasons Summer = Warm Rain Winter = Cold Rain and yea the worst part is that it's gray all the time, you can months without seeing the sun, or as you call it after months, "big round bright thing".

Actually, the past two weeks have been clear and in the upper 50s/lower 60s. I'm totally enjoying this weather. I keep wanting to take a picture of the blooming cherry trees in the UW quad. We've had very little rain this winter.

Yeah, as a matter of fact, this "winter" has only dropped to freezing one time. It has rained maybe a collective 5 days the entire winter. We are going to have a water draught this summer because of it. It was warmer than florida on quite a few occassions this winter.

Reminds me why I love to live here. So many mountains, and its literally one of the most beautiful places on earth.

The rain, does come though ... however its a missconception among people that have never lived in washington. But all you cali people and flordia people dont be moving up here, we are already over crowded :-p

there are a few galleries of local hike spots I went on in the past few months. One was an ice lake, the other were ice caves ... both of wich very secluded, very fun, and very pretty. Infact, this friday I'm gonna go check out some big water falls out in the north cascades. I'll get pictures!
