I've been loving the weather. Its been so clear the cascades have been perfectly visible ALL around. You look one way you see beautiful water, you look the other and you see huge beautiful mountains all around you, with blue sky and bright sun. It really makes you just smile and make you feel great to be alive.

I've gottan that feeling every single day for the past couple weeks. Its great. I love the northwest. No other place like it.

(edit) except maybe the alps in switzerland. Thats really pretty too ... lol

Mount Saint Helens erupted, it's has a cratered top, that mountain has not erupted in some time, he's in oregon, I am guessing it's Mount Hood, but what do I know.

My relatives live in Washington. Doesn't it rain for 3 straight seasons up there or something?

They said it's really depressing. They want to move back to NY actually.

But I love the weather you speak of, it happens here too

Seattle has two seasons Summer = Warm Rain Winter = Cold Rain and yea the worst part is that it's gray all the time, you can months without seeing the sun, or as you call it after months, "big round bright thing".

Let's see, today started out cold and rainy, then it got windy and colder and it started to snow, then the lights went out and the sun came out and it got still colder and the wind is blowing like 90 mph.

Correct, Mt. Hood, I hope it doesn't erupt in anyone's lifetime around here, it's only 60 miles away!
