This whole thing just makes me laugh. I love when little kiddies don't admit they screwed up. I would've respected him more if he just admitted it. Oh well, I guess it's a lost cause. At least he walked away.........

No he was talking about the evil forum. I think it was Christi who posted a link of it earlier on page 2.

I can understand where everyone is coming from my friend just told me a little while ago about a kid who for his 1st car bought a turbo vr6 a2 vw. It was claimed to have 400+hp. Well the kid crashed his car and killed himself and the passenger along with injuring some kids on the school bus he hit. I think it was said he was going 135 on a main highway.

I read the big fight over at team. There are some giant holes in everyones stories and some observations on my part from this mess.

Droptop first says he came around the bend to see the red tII in the trees.

Now he says he saw the whole thing and Brandon never locked up his brakes. Contradiction?

Everyone remember the Video of the Evo drfting the hell out of the race track then at the very end he drops 2 tires off the edge of the pavement and rolls it over and over? I see a lot of similarity in this wreck except a tree stopped the motion that is how I thik he got so far in the air. That was driver error not brake fade.

I see police tape on the site. Was anyone ticketed for reckless driving?

Suddenly there are a heap of members on Team that have 0 post count defending Bradons actions. Interesting, and Kevin is the troll??

If I was droptop I would feel quilty as hell over this. He is obviously a mature man and he led these kids onto this mountain backroad and instigated this spirited drive. I am sure Brandons mother is so overjoyed over his friends he goes out of town to visit.

Dave 88 AE - I am not picking on the kid I am glad he is o.k. and that he did not commit vehicular homicide. It would be a shame to spend your younger years in prison because you think your Michael Shumi. Blaming the car in my opinion tells me he will go back and do this again. He, in his own mind, thinks he is a great driver.

Kevin made some great points its a shame everyone is too busy defending his actions to realize it.

That whole mess has turned into a popularity contest. I have not been on team in a while but when I left Brando and Turbosmoke were nothing more that a couple of post *****s who thought it was funny to post stupid **** in everyones threads just to get their post count up higher than everyone else. It irritaded the **** out of me but I always kept my mouth shut. Every forum has its mascott. They were to Team what Node is to the evil forum. Suddenly Brandon is a RX-7 guru?? I missed a lot of memo's not being there anymore.

Here is a scenerio that keeps playing in my mind.

That Forums members all chip in and find a TII for sale, possibly a members car. They give it to Brandon. He fixes it all up except this time he "fixes" the brakes.

He talkes another trip to the mountains to see his friend w/ the v-8 powered FC. They go chasing each other in the mountains and he wrecks again except this time he takes someone out.

Who is responsible? The members that gave him the car? They enabled him to pick up right where he left off w/o consequences.

Jim,

This is why I always had respect for you on TeamFC.

I want to state this too.

I have never respected Brando as a Guru.

I look at him as the clown of the forum.

His input isnt ever very much on tech topics.

I know i dont input on tech over there much,

Especially since i sold my fc.

I see this as all Driver error.

I myself have done 5 open track days in my dads FD.

Never once after 20-30 minutes of beating the hell out of the brakes,

Even though there bigger then fc brakes,

Did i ever experiance Fade.

This is at a few differant tracks even.

Seattle, Portland, Wendover.

I know i am kinda 2 faced by saying this here, and just saying a mild "Im sorry" over there, but i dont want to stir up a lot of **** on there.

I think i would also repect him more in this situation if he would have just admitted his wrong.

With all that said,

~Kyle~

Omg that deffinetely takes the cake as the most ridiculous forum topic I've ever read. His car NEVER would have flown off the ledge like that if he wasn't driving like that. Period. And all those people offering him money to get him a new car so he can just go and do it again...

Dumb people shouldn't be allowed to reproduce.

If you look at where they are from they are all from brandon and Cozmo home towns. They are obviously friends of theirs who want to defend them. I can't say i blame them I would do the same for my friends.

Of course i know my friends and if they **** up their cars i would be the first person to criticize them only after making sure they were ok.
