Of course i know my friends and if they **** up their cars i would be the first person to criticize them only after making sure they were ok.
Same thing I would do... Not blame it on "brake fade" that was caused by HIS driving anyways.

I don't think they posted in any other threads since this happened.

They are probably still a little messed up over the whole accident. I know when i was in an accident I kept going over what happened in my head and it wasn't half as bad as this.

If you look at where they are from they are all from brandon and Cozmo home towns. They are obviously friends of theirs who want to defend them. I can't say i blame them I would do the same for my friends.

Of course i know my friends and if they **** up their cars i would be the first person to criticize them only after making sure they were ok.
Could not agree with you more, Dave 88 AE

I saw his in car vid and he says "oh ****" then a couple of seconds later "no brakes" and then attempts to take the turn at way to high of a speed. There were also lights lit in his idiot light cluster I have no idea which ones though.

Inexperiance was a major factor in this. What led up to the brake fade?

Does his e-brake work can he downshift? Again inexperiance. Honestly seeing the vid he looked like he was along for the ride.

Glad they are o.k.

Everyone can over anylize this till the cows come home. You cannot say what you would do until you have been there.

But I will anyway

My instinct would have been to keep it straight and pull the e-brake for as long as possible while grabbing a lower gear. Releasing e-brake while downshifting. Trying to keep it as straight as possible.

I overshot a turn on an open track day. Came into the turn too hot and braked too late. Attempted to late brake and started to lock up the fronts. Had to let off the brakes straighten out the wheel and reapply harder now. All this in a split second. I was doing about 90 MPH.

Just glad they were not killed. For what this will set him back, if everyone doesn't give him everything, he could have done some open track days with an instructor. He paid like $500 for the car plus another $1000 for the engine maybe another $400 in incidentals.

Thats a lot of track days and instruction.

Keep it on the track fellas.

looking at the vid and comparing to my idiot light cluster....his brake light was on.

Its too bad that they didnt die in that crash so they dont breed. If you get behind the wheel of a car that has a brake IDIOT light on and you drive it fast...you dont deserve to be alive because you are that ******* stupid. I flush my brake fluid once a month adn it takes me about 40 minutes to do it by myself.

this **** is life or death...not ******* Playstation 2

oh btw Gran tourismo 3 is not driving instruction
