His pics are hosted on his server. www.thewanksta.com his server exceeded its bandwidth. So if no one right clicked and saved they are gone for now.

They were quite spectacular I must admit.

I honestly doubt it was "brake fade" that caused this. After doing dozens of laps at Moroso WPB and braking from 135 to 50 over and over again I never experienced brake fade.

I think he just screwed up and took a curve way too fast. Dropped a tire off the edge and it was all over.

BUT - lets learn something from this. Go out and look at your brake resivior. Is it nice and clean or dark and sooty??

Dark and sooty? Go to the grocery store and buy a 90 cent turkey baster. Then go buy a big can of Dot3. Suck all the black fluid out and refill it. Then bleed your brakes refilling the resivior until the brakes flow clean.

If you are driving hard on a regular basis you should be doing this about once a month. No less than once a year.

No invest about $50 well spent on a set of front racing pads Hawk HP Plus are very good pads.

This is the single most inportant mod you should do to your car. You brakes are very important and I am realizing from reading all 3 forums that most people are clueless on the maintenance of them. I bleed mine monthly and notice a huge difference in pedal feel.

** Again, I think this guy is full of it about the brake fade issue. I would have more respect for him if he just said, "I came in too hot for the turn and screwed up bad."**

either way, hopefully they both learned some life lessons and common sense. sometimes it takes something shitty like their crash to lower ALL teenage males' "superman" mentality...

Yes, but looks can be deceiving! We all know that kitty for the ravenous flesh-ripper she is!

EDIT: Found them page 3. I should have read up above.

Damn, i would have to severly punish myself for destroying rx7 property. I'm glad he's ok tho. That would probably be the scariest thing in his life. I can't imagine the fear just as he was losing control.

I know i've been scared shitless a few times and ended up just fine. Man i hope some good comes of his situation, I wish the best for him.
