So where to go for this years anniversary

Alaska. Seriously. Pretty place. It's not the typical beach joint, there is nice fishing. I have never gone personally, but my father was stationed in Anchorage with AtlasAir for about 3 years. He loved going there.
Somebody at work just went to Aruba back in October and he said he loved it. Iguana's EVERYWHERE.

ok.. how about this joint! Best fishing ever.... literally!
Off the 4 mountains area, seguam pass. You can charter a flight from anchorage to dutch harbor, from there you can either buy a big raft and try to hitch a ride with a boat going out that way then jump off into your raft and setup camp on one of the active volcanos. Then use your raft to fish off the shores until a boat comes back to pick you up a few days/weeks later!
Or dutch harbor has a few places not far away from the island to fish. World class fishing there... but better in seguam pass.

This is how you get out there... Only about 2-3 day trip to get there!
25lb cod caught with some twine and a hook hung over the side of the boat. Caught in about 2 minutes of the hook in the water. Caught a few 100+ lb halibut and many more 25-35lb cod, etc... in about 2 hours of fishing time.
4 active volcanos right next to eachother, really cool. I have yet to see them erupt but a few people I know have gotten to see it.

caye caulker is a small island but damn its sweet.
Here are a couple pictures of when I was on it.
(as for bungalos on it, honestly I dont thin I saw any... its a very non touristy place... VERY laid back and VERY relaxing)

(main street at night)
getting there
my buddy walked about 150 yards out to that boat, it looked really funny
this is the little channel, its about a 3 minute walk from anywhere on the island and if always full of lots of wild life. You can go snorkle there for hours and have tons of fun. Also you can rent sea kayaks and paddle out to the reef with snorkle gear... **** that was a good time. I love belize... lol
Anyways, if you just want to relax that is the place to do it. Really, I spent about 2 weeks total on that island and it is small, you might get bored of things on the island, but its so close to so uch cool stuff you'll never stop being amazed at things you do and see there. Also, there is a local rhasta man that lives on the island thats on the other side of the channel (in a hut). He calls himself the 'breadman', he supplies all the local shops with banana bread. Its cheap and really really really good, check it out. I bought 4 loafs one day, rented a kayak al day, went out to the reef and had a picnic about 2-3 miles off shore with some baracuda, rays and nurse sharks. (also while paddling out there you can see the bottom of the water in all spots and the deepest is about 25-30 feet down. You can see rays and sharks swimming under you... damn cool)
