I think I'm going to spraypaint my desktop.

You'd do a better job than any company...alienware PC's paint likes to flake off!

I think we already broke the thing. Last night Edna was looking at funny pics of cats or something, and the computer just started screaming this horrible sound, and wouldn't stop. She got it to stop (shut if off, I think), but after turning it back on, the screen would randomly disappear. I dunno what could be wrong, we haven't installed anything or messed with it much, I'll play with it some today.

I think we just suck at computers.
Called Apple, it's so nice to speak with an American when I have an issue. Did a firmware update (and like 8 other updates it needed), and haven't had a problem since then.

Yeah, I thought that was strange. The other 8 were updates to applications, like itunes and ilife and i-etc.

What's up with that program, "garage band"? They couldn't call it IBand?

Actually it is much better, the service pack is what 250 megs? His were prolly 75 megs or so. The new updates just came out. Anyhow you have to update anything, Current OS came out what 2 years ago and it's on its 6th update, 10.5.6, Tiger got to what 10.4.12. even linux and unix have updates, that was a big part of my job. The difference is apple doesn't release a major version untested, hell everyone hated xp until it got to sp1, it's just the lesser of two evils at this point since Vista's release.

Anyhow, we get Rob yer a PC guy, you aren't going to try any other operating system, misery loves company. He bought the mac, you weren't able to talk him out of it, you admittedly let bill gates down, but I won't tell him. So what do you think of the macbook and osx so far baldy?
