baldy, if you put forth an effort after buying the mac youll unleash a wonderful world of video and graphical editing. iMovie '09 itself (which i think comes preinstalled on all macs atm) will allow you to do things you didnt think you were capable of. Hell it even comes with a green screen feature like they use in the movies and ****. it's pretty impressive. too bad you cant borrow one from someone for a few days.

I used to think my wife beat me up in my sleep because I would get bruises on my chest, then I realized it was from leaning over things when I work- lean over a railing on a boat for 3-4 hours and in a day or two you have light bruises.

My wife is really something when she changes position in bed. She's always cold, so she has the covers wrapped around her, and she kinda does this ninja spin move when she's in the process of getting comfortable. I was unfortunate enough to be in the path of her left hand as she did this the other night. Coulda been worse. I still have all my teeth.

Back on topic. My Mac is the coolest. I held off due to cost but I would not trade it for all the PC paperweights.. To put it in perspective I am trying to unload my 18 month old HP 17" Craptop because it is just that a craptop. All I do at home is surf the web and personal email and it's still gives me nothing but headaches... I actually enjoy mocking my HP by leaving a word document open on my Mac overnight Imagine that no worries for data loss - what a concept. The screen is unbelievable on my Mac. I can actally sit outside in full daylight and work. What a concept finally a usefull laptop...
