The screen kept going out, it would just go black except for a bunch of colored lines at the top. Just randomly. We'd have to shut it off and back on again, and it would be fine for a little while. Once it started flickering like a strobe. Occasionally the disappearing screen was accompanied by a full-volume screech from the speakers. We're supposed to get it back within 8 business days, it's going to Mac Mall in Memphis to get the worm out of the Apple.

HAHA! YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE??

I'd love to, but we don't have an Apple store. I think Best Buy sells them, but I refuse to buy anything from Best Buy that's over $50 or so. If I bought this from them, then it had this problem, I'd have to stand at the return counter and start raising my voice, get all belligerent to get any sort of service.

**** THAT, one thing about apple, bitch a little and they do anything. I would have told them on the phone that it has their name on it and they are going send you a new one overnight.

baldy, you can actually email steve jobs directly and he will respond to your situation, it almost always works out with you getting the proper customer service without any hassle (let's see bill gates do that) i dunno if it still works since he's taking a time out but he's still the boss sooooo.....

sucks you have no apple store by you, they would take care of everything rather quickly.
