I was very close friends of a family of JW's. Pretty much the kids were nuts because their parents were weird into that ****...so they lashed out until recently. Ones married and is actually taking up the religion of their parents...sad.

80% of the reason of why religion is still around is because of parents passing it along to their children, and of course kids not wanting to get the old strap.

whats the deal with that anyhow? did jesus do that back in the day?
Jesus seemed more like a transient than a door-to-door kind of guy.

Umm I'm going to go with the sheeple find it to be WAY to much work to read and be edjumacated. I mean come on. Does anyone question anything their parents told them or do they continue to take the **** as fact while at the same time hating them during their teenage years?? If I believed every word my mom said I would have 100 kids because they are the best thing in the world. I'm not arguing kids are great but just because my mom wanted 100 of them does not mean it is the right thing for me.

It seems to be an epidemic and the sheeple seem to be going down hill each year. Then again I moved to backwoods south florida so it's amazing when people don't wear name tags to work in hopes of remebering their own names..

I was almost ran into three times this week it seems staying in your own lane while driving has become WAY too much trouble. Either that or mortality while driving has gone up which is very possible.

Just a thought! I think I have spent too much time with the sheeple this week. Makes me pissy. One can only take so much stupid.

AMEN! I'm desperately seeking a house with nice acreage, preferably 20 or so, so i can just be with me and my g/f, we both have the same feelings about most sheeple, we live in a VERY FAKE area, you know the type guy who buys huge house and no car, but then has no money for clothes, food, gas, furniture. then a year or 2 later they realize the mortgage is too high and have to sell the home. we luckily live on the outside of that but im trying to further distance myself from the epicenter. Of course I'm in NJ and too close to NYC so it's difficult cause I'm going to have to move a decent distance from my family (I'm only 25, live with my g/f and her family, still have a room at my parents house....but not that we cant afford a house or anything my girlfriend's "family life" is going thru and has been going thru for a while a really big "event")

Either way thats why i like my job, i dont deal with people, just machines with dumb owners.

you and phins definitely seem to be on the same page, thats how I feel with my g/f, when you feel you belong together. So yea congrats on that, and im wasted.

kevin.

What I mean is, if any child becomes religious or continues on that path, it's a path set out by their parents from a young age. It's not like one of your kids is going to convert to judaism or something....and if they do, yeah it's mostly to spite their parents and its not actually for religious fulfillment. I've seen it in everyone I know, not everyone hates their parents during their teenage years and if they did, they'll fall back on religion later in life after the hate has died down.
