thats whats great about working saturdays- none of that.

I dont have to worry about that **** living on the boat, but I used to get pissed. I would tell them to get the **** off my property or I will call the cops to haul away their bodies. they usually say something like, we are very sorry to have bothered you, have a nice afternoon LOL

Yea sort of I guess. I am surprised the Witnesses aren't preaching armageddon again, that's really how they built up their membership in the first place, i guess it backfired when it didnt happen, i think the last time was in the 70's. Of course only 144,000 of them get to live through armageddon so it would seem that a good majority of them are fucked even though they've been followin the gospel. hell for all i know they changed that too, they have a habit of changing things that have an adverse effect on donations.

I dunno that i know a lot of them, I know a decent amount about the religion, very close family friends and in fact my baby sitter growing up were JW's, so i have a decent grasp on the beliefs, however as I said before they tend to change unpopular beliefs or rather "re-interpret" them. So the 144,000 thing is not what I came up with, that is the number of people that will survive or IIRC they will be resurrected after armagedden and bury the bones of the non believers (this i believe was one of the re-interpreted things) not to give us a proper christian burial, but to rid the earth of our bones. Those 144,000 people be immortal and rule heaven with jesus and jehovah. I think most of them believe they will also be resurrected not to run heaven, but to be given a "second chance to prove their worthiness", but i cant remember if they boot the other 144k or if they all live happily ever after.
They don't believe in hell, blood transfusions, voting, military service and celebrating birthdays (that's a pegan ritual) including christmas, they do however give massive numbers of gifts at anniversarys which are usually around xmas time to try to ease the sting to young children not celebrating xmas.
They believe satan was once the golden son of god and that he rules the here and now world, i dont remember the wording. They excommunicate people, they encourage members to narc eachother out and i remember when one of the friends of the family i was talking about got knocked up out of wedlock she had to sit in the back of the church and face the back of the church, they still do things like that as far as I know, that's one of the stranger parts of the religion to me, the narcing out fellow church members in order to look better, you know if yer seen doing something not appropriate like voting.
This is not an all inclusive list and if you are a JW feel free to enlighten people if things have changed or I have misinformed, if it offends you that I speak of the religion well quite honestly go **** yourself. I have a general knowledge of A LOT of religions, let's face it I read a lot.

OMG MAC RULES!! Linux i like.. Ubuntu was nice and easy to setup ala mac..relative to other linux distros.. Suse linux i liked more cuz it seems more robust, and certain things worked better on it.. but a bit more fiddling.. The old puter i put em on ran soo much smoother on linux than XP. cool thing about linux on an old pc is that its free.. if your hardware is supported..
I am outta the loop on the new mac hardware stuff.. can you run sli or crossfire? or what graphics do they use? I know on their site you can config the powerhorse mac( i forgot the name) up to like $25,000!! tis noots!! My favorite combo would be a multi boot system, custom built to my specs, not to theirs, and tweaked by me.. BUT mac has its closed door policy, windows lets any ****** in, and linux is sexy..
