Hah. Not sure what I was thinking trying to reason; or even reply to this thread in the first place.

wouldn't it just make it more of a pain to bleed the system of air with the rad angle if there is air bubbles?

if youre argument held any water id be technical, but it doesnt.

the ast "traps miiniscule bubbles"

what did they drastically change between the fc and fd coolant systems that these miniscules bubbles suddenly appeared?

i mean im pretty sur emy rad is on an angle, perhaps bigger angle then an fd's, i have no miniscule bubbles i can run it all day with the rad cap off and never see a miniscule bubble. perhaps a massive bubble.

so go on, let's hear your "reasoning" for the ast

oh and if this AST is such a godsend, why is there not one single other car in the world with one?

well if you tried to formulate a reason why it is actually good...then maybe you would be ok

but you basically introduce an idea.....we criticized it...when you found out it was stupid, you bailed

Furthermore, there have been persistant issues from a handful of members so we installed an "ignore" feature. Simply click the ignore button in one of their replies to add them to your ignore list. These individuals are not capable of carrying on a normal conversation, nor are they mature enough to do so. Rather then being baited into an argument with them, please ignore them or post in the New Member Chat. It's unfortunate and somewhat sad that we even have to add this to the rules, but a select few are causing the forum to deteriorate and ultimately causing it to be an unpleasent place to post. Good Luck!

didnt ya know!

seriously the system is sealed.. there shouldnt be bubbles produced at any point if you bleed it right..

so what i am understanding is you need the ast to bleed it properly..

no? yes? sometimes?

if bleeding it is just a pain and thats why the ast is there so you dont mess up, then id rather ditch the ast and bleed it the harder way than to deal with the ast at all..

but i guess i dont understand properly and Mazderati won't explain...

maybe the tiny japanese men that have to work on the cars (cause you know theres no room for a regular man to work on it) live inside the AST...and the bubbles are breaths

maybe the AST is really hollow and its a house...it sort of looks like one...a skinny 3 story victorian
