I feather the clutch and slide on the gas.... I couldn't even drop my n/a past 3k or I just sat there spinning, there was a 4-5 sec diff in 0-60 times....

:sigh of despair: ............the only thing that i was asking was that if anyone knew about the differences in these styles and how they worked for them in their car, i'm not asking for lessons or different clutches i can buy, even though i thank you for the input, but i was just wondering if anyone had any other thought on these different styles in R-E-G-U-L-A-R S-T-R-E-E-T C-A-R-S.
Just so you know man, Here in GenD, you're not likely to get many straight answers. You're better off posting in a topic section.. FYI..

Oh, and I always slip the clutch to keep the boost, but it just makes the clutch hot and stinky. I think that it would probably be better to get some sort of mean of the two techniques. Somewhere between letting the clutch take all the beating and letting your tires roast. Maybe a fast release, but not quite so fast as sidestepping the clutch. On the other hand, if sidestepping is good for you, that just might be the best practice for yourself.

I've never tried sidestepping, but I'm gonna as soon as the rain clears up!!
