[quote name='Eric Happy Meal' date='Mar 31 2005, 10:24 PM']i personally dont have a problem with her being killed, its just the way that she was. because i guess she already was dead :\

Agreed
[quote name='Rob x-7' date='Mar 31 2005, 10:25 PM']so then we should just dispose of them?
house vicious criminals until they die in jail, but lets kill off people who cant help themselves

Kill the viscious criminals too....
[quote name='Pyrrian' date='Apr 1 2005, 04:30 AM']What I find most disturbing about this all is that millions of people will flock to the aid of some lady who has been in a vegetative state for 15 years, but they probably haven't even lifted a finger to help someone else. These people could have spent their money, time, etc. volunteering at a local clinic to help people who have a very real chance at living a normal life. They could be donating blood to help save peoples' lives. They could become organ donors. They could find a local hobo and give him five bucks - at least he'd be able to put it to some use. Instead, what do millions of Americans do? They call into radio stations, write articles, petition politicians, clog up courts, and wave signs outside a hospital. For what? Some lady that none of them know who has been in a vegetative state for 15 years - well over a third of her life. Prisoners have a better chance at becoming productive members of society than this lady did. People are just using this lady as a reason to pick a fight.

My living will:
step one: can I live without a tube, and wake up normal agian?
step two: if answer is no, shoot me then and there and make sure I'm dead. If yes, save me. there is more beer to be drunk.

I believe she only told her husband she didn't want to live with any type of life support. She would have been left to die 15 years ago but her selfish parents didn't want to let her go cause they would be sad to lose her, and held up the death for years.
Lethal injection isn't painless and peacefull like they make it seem. You get multiple shots, not just one. One of them is to paralyze you cause the lethal injection makes your body go into convulsions and that doesn't look very peacefull.
On a funny note there was a guy who was arrested for trying to sneek water into her, just a few days ago, he was from a catholic school near my house. The funny thing is if he gave her the water he would have drowned her since she couldn't swallow.
