Server status topic

ok going to try to keep it all in here. first off the move is done, I am finishing up on some customer sites, rx7auction.com and rx7registry.com have also completed the switch. We should be live with new nameservers tomorrow.. or dead with new nameservers if the config didn't go right.
Board emails are working, just not to me LOL
I am restoring the uploaded images as we speak.
Expect high server loads tonight and through the weekend, I am still restoring and creating backups and doing load tests. So far everything looks great, trust me it did not go as smoothly as anticipated, but it went. We had about 10 minutes of downtime, we lost about an hours worth of posts becuase you guys were in a posting frenzy when I moved it LOL
On a side note, the crappy little nopistons.net box is throwing out memory dumps, ( i taxed it ftping backups and needs some new memory) since it is just a crap box on my work DSL I have to buy it so it will take a bit while I watch sales.
The new server has a double the speed proc, is running update web appliance ( i can have resellers now! ), is running Red Hat 7.2 and has twice the memory. We were no wher near taxing the other server (we were running about 10% loads max) but we are sitting even prettier on this one.
Thanks for you patience during the short warning, unexpected move and thank you for your continued patience over the next few days.
I was up until 4am last night, will be up about the same tonight and am fishing at 8am in the morning so I may be a little cranky this weekend.

We should be switching to the domain today (this evening) we seem to have propogated almost everywhere.
There is one bug, which is the time zone setting in the user cp. I will get that fixed at some point.
So basically the server move should be completed tonight.
Thanks for your patience.
