Server Move This Month--Status

Just wanted to let you know we will be moving servers this month. Basically we were running out of hard drive space and being on an older box it was more feasible to move to a new server then add another drive.
New server has 4 gigs of ram (double the current) 2-Mirrored 250 gig hd's.
I don't forsee more then 15mins to 30 mins downtime, i've done it in the past without people even noticing. i will keep you posted as to the date and time and when we're all done.

I am planning on doing i this weekend if all goes well as we are usually a little slower on the weekends, if not I'll do it next weekend. I'm also trying to get the ball rolling on a "youtube' type deal for videos and I will prolly move the google ads banner to the top of the forum as we are falling quite short on sponsors (not a big deal we've been here before and we usually end up with a food of advertisers all at once) Ive got about six months reserves as it sits, but its obviously more fun to spend that on upgrades and the what not

Guess I'll go ahead and give some insight on the videos dealio. What happened is a guy that runs a video hosting website for motorsports forums, we integrate it into the forum (somewhat) you guys upload and view the vids in your browser, etc, etc... We'll get 4 cents per download, which is cool considering we're down to one or two paying sponsors.
