The first time I drove it anywhere, I had 3 people ask me about it.

I put my Panasports on it for grins, it was nice looking

Sounds like a cool project Dysthymia. If it needs a new engine, I am sure you could find a running 12A for cheap. There was like an 81 for sale just the other day for around 750. The body was alright, including the interior. It even had a back seat! It was the firs FB I had seen with a back seat. I would not of paid any more than 500 for it, but I am sure that it ran. It had about 140000 miles on it. You could easily take the engine and part out the car.
I think I might just go and buy the car once I sell off my telescope on ebay. I just need to clear the whole thing with my dad, to see whether he'll let me take up another spot in the driveway.

Anyone need a telescope? h34r:

What kind of telescope is it? I wouldn't mind having a nice 10" reflector for about a hundred bucks.

Meade ETX-90 WITH an Autostar #497 controller. Brand new. Retails for 650 on buytelescopes.com, I'd sell to a board member for 400.

I talked to the guy with the motors today, and he told me they are mine if I can just get them off his hands. Hell, he told me that he'd give me his 1st gen beater if he could just be rid of it.

One step closer...

Hey Felix, Absolutely cool RX man. In my neck of the woods that's a series two. The series ones were basically the same but were fitted with the rectangular headlights. Our models didn't get those large lights in the front guards until our series three[late '74]. I've had one exactly the same as yours there[brown and all - except my steering wheel's on the other side!!]. At the moment I've got one Rx-2 and three capellas[616 or piston models]. Yes I'm obcessed!!

I don't think we ever got the rectangular headlights here in North America.

I cleaned it up the other day (its been under a tarp for quite some time). Perhaps I should take some new pictures of it.
