94Touring who did you but your mini from in the UK? it wasn't a guy called Paul Whiffin was it? I know getting a car registered in the Uk is relatively easy, are there many restrictions in the US?

Cheers

Adam.
I got it from Barnhillmini's, a guy named Pete here in the states runs the bussiness from this side, i'm not sure of the guys name in the UK.

To just register a car bought in the US is no problem. But when you import cars there are certain restrictions depending on how the car is classed, I believe. Wether it is considered a collectors item or antique, things like that. Bringing over new FD's sounds too good to be true, i'm sure there is a catch some where in the system. If there is, hopefully there is a way around it. You guys might want to start searching for totaled FD's and grabbing the vin tag

wow thats cool, the blue one is nice! So there is a way to actually get them over here. But you can't drive 96+ Rx7s over here, right? Well legally

Well thats what we need to find out, dumb laws over here. Someone needs to make a trip to the dmv and ask. Also need to find out if you can import rx7 prior to 96, that way you can use vins off of pre 96 cars and put them on 96+ cars.

they haven't passed crash test or emission testing as far as I know, I heard you would have to purchase like 4 of them so the gov't could do crash testing on, they you could own one, how about the skyline how did they get that over here?
