Unhappy

Well I live in the ghetto, close to campus, the students call it the student ghetto.

My rent is only 300 CDN dollars a month. THe place has a draft that moves more air then any electric cooling fan for a car.

Anyhow the landlords could not rent out the place below us for this year. It is a house, that is divided between 4 apts. I live in the upstairs apartment, and no one occupies the apt below us.

Today it was -37°C or -34.6 F at kingston.

We called the landord to tell him/her to turn on the damn heat on the apt below us, because we were concerned that the pipes would freeze. Got back from the Mechanical engineering lab, been rebuilding the engine for the formula SAE team. Go take a ****, flush the toilet, the toilet goes, doesn't fill up. WTF.

Faucet doesn't work. Hrm.

Went downstairs, the landlord forgot to lock the door for the apt below. THe ******* toilet water was frozen in the toilet. their water doesn't work.

****.

I'd rather pay what I do now for rent and not have to worry about all of that! Although, with the extra money left over....

Get an electric space heater for the basement! Leave it on all the time at full blast.

Get one by AIRWORKS. its this little space heater about a foot high, with a black grill over the element, its neat looking, not too expensive. Anyway, it warms up the entire basement here until im sweating my ***** off. If you do not pay hydro, than i would suggest buying one. It's like a second furnace.

I'd call the landlord and bitch him out! Tell him he's a fooking idiot and that its cheaper to heat the vacant apartment than it is to fix a bunch of plumbing and flood damage!

WTF? Are people this stupid?
