I've been looking forward to the Mazda RevItUp event since I first heard of it. I was going to use it as my 1st step into autocross. I paid the fee, and told everyone about how excited I was. Now I don't have enough money to make the trip. "go autocross your car!" Well, no money to fix the car, either. I almost decided to sell the 7, just because it's a money pit, a pretty expensive hobby compared to most. My wife talked me out of it, but I think it's going to sit under a cover for awhile. I have a Maxima that I paid $400 for, then paid $2,000 to fix the tranny, and I haven't made it road worthy yet. I think I'll put up the 7 for awhile, and make the Maxima driveable (can't carry a kid safely in the 7). Plus I'm getting tired of driving the motorcycle home in the 3 o'clock summer rains.

Anyways, at least I'll be able to spend fathers' day with my dad, so it'll be a good day. I guess I need to come up with some new plans real quick.

So what are you guys doing for fathers' day? Any special traditions you do with good ol' dad?

The king thing sounds pretty cool. I might have to stop by Burger King and get a crown.

As for going to the revitup event, I lied! Actually, I just got called into a higher-up's office, to receive a $1,000 bonus. Score! Now I can actually buy my dad a decent gift.
