OK since I am the pro and have first hand information... here it goes.



You have to score 31-99 on the ASVAB



You have to enlist into one of te specified jobs



15 months of active duty after completion of all initial entry training



24 months of satisfactory participation in Army Reserve after active duty



Bonus of $5,000



Student Loan Repayment of up to $18,000

 

still no mention of IRR..which is there as well...

 

Im a man, your a man (hopefully), whatever happened to us fearing commitment?! I had trouble signing up with Nextel for a 1 year contract much less 18 months with the Military that could turn into 8 years if need be.







**** that.

 

On a side note, I completely respect anyone who has chosen that carreer, I just dont think it is for me.

lol the infantry isnt bad..... i should rephrase... being in the artic airborne infantry is terrible

 

midnight- the IRR is no secret, its just one of those things people dont think will happen to them

 

hell.... I'm in the IRR right now... and yes, there are ways to keep yourself from being called up from it.
