Really? I'm sitting in front of my barebones kit right now. Works great. Perfect condition. Must be your UPS guy is using it for a punching bag.

Nevermind. Crapass system melted down yesterday after less than 3 months. Motherboard seems to have roasted. I'm working with PC Chips for a replacement board. Tiger won't do anything with it after 30 days.

I have the Curve too, Gold one that's about a month old. It's on eBay right now LOL. Matter of fact it's just a few days too old to return to T-Mobile LOL I am gonna go back to my unlocked iPhone and my Treo. I tell you, if the iPhone had a couple more things like GPS and video, it would be perfect. On the Curve, I just needed a Windows based phone too much. That thing is awesome for emails though. It could use the text thread feature as well.

iPhone firmware update 1.1.3 now has google maps' "find me" feature which uses cell tower triangulation to approximate your position, similar to GPS but definitely not as dead on.

normal it points out my location pretty dead on tho, test it whenever i get a chance

Since the wife's got a cell phone from work, we dumped our t-mobile plan. I just got a new Motorola V195 on t-mobile's prepaid plan. $40 for the phone, $100 for 1000 minutes good for a year. Total annual expense: $140! I bet most of you are paying a tad more than that!
