Free is cheap. $200. is a lot to pay for a phone, IMO, but then again, I'm the wrong person to ask. I like old phones with rotary dials. And wires.

In the description it says it only works with GSM networks like Cingular and T-Mobile. If it doesn't work, send it back.

I have done business with Tiger Direct. They are a good place to buy from.

I ordered a new barebones kit from TigerDirect.......

Sent/Substituted a smaller power supply 550w vs 600w

So far 3 cases have been sent, all have been cracked

Really? I'm sitting in front of my barebones kit right now. Works great. Perfect condition. Must be your UPS guy is using it for a punching bag.

u think tigerdirect is good, look into their rebate scam onrebate.com it's owned by and operated out of the same building as tigerdirect. My rebate was approved but never delivered. After over two years, the Florida States Attorney General's office finally got me my $100 rebate. **** tigerdirect, **** their rebates. You can do an internet search and see how may people they've fucked with their rebate bullshit.

I'd recommend staying away from rebates in general, but i prefer newegg over most of the rest of them.

It was a super cheapie AMD athlon on a PC chips mobo with a GB of RAM and a case. It was like $99. (after rebate). I also picked up a DVD burner and a new hard disk. The system works great.

That sucks about the rebates. I got an email from them saying my rebate was in process, but it only appears to address one of the three I sent them. Two were for $20, one for $10. I will stay on them. Good to know, I was getting ready to order some other stuff from them.

I have the Curve too, Gold one that's about a month old. It's on eBay right now LOL. Matter of fact it's just a few days too old to return to T-Mobile LOL I am gonna go back to my unlocked iPhone and my Treo. I tell you, if the iPhone had a couple more things like GPS and video, it would be perfect. On the Curve, I just needed a Windows based phone too much. That thing is awesome for emails though. It could use the text thread feature as well.
