maybe a coupe front kit?

I had someone tell me the front part of a coupe carpet would not fit in a vert

It's a coupe front kit, the guy said I would have to cut a little bit off of the back of the kit, nothing major, if it's all fucked I will jsut take it to an upholstry shop, but for $129 i'm giving it a try.

thats right, the vert has a longer carpet, you would have to seam it behind the seats if you used a coupe's carpet

by front panel, I meant the front half of the carpet, because coupes you can buy it in 2 pieces obviously because of the hatch area

I was told the opposite.

My 88 vert came with a stock cd player (altho it didnt work and i basically needed to re-wire the whole ******* stereo), and the carpets in that are fucked up too... wierd purple stains in random places. My seats are also in shitty condition, the leather is all cracked and coming apart at the seams. I dont want to get rid of them tho, cause i really like the headrest speakers.

I tried to clean my carpets once, I removed the drivers seat (the passenger seat i couldnt get out... rusted bolts and shitty tools), covered the dash and anything electronic with cellophane, and shampooed it and sprayed it with the hose, sucking out the water with the shop-vac. It worked well for the dirt stains, but those damn purple blotches are still there.

My car looked like that a few years ago, I am glad I went that route, strip the whole car down to the shell and bring everything back to new.
