nah, I don't like when people use "trailer trash," I know lots of people in trailers. I was just under the impression that modular homes depreciated. (at least that's what I was told in personal finance class )

Joe-BOB and Betty-Lou buy a 26K Single wide and park it in the trailerpark = BIG TIME depreciation



Johnney and Suzey shell out 80K for a modular and set it up with a permanent foundation on land = REAL ESTATE

You have to either get a helluva deal on the house, or do a lot of work to get equity right away.
