although correct about home equity loan or line of credit, I wouldn't do it unless you are disciplined financially and you immediately pay off any balances, and especially don't do it unless you're gonna cut up your credit cards 'cause it can fast get outta control.....so I've been told (cough!)[ahem!]...

Plus.. You can be certain you will have a safe place to keep your car once you do get it.. and you can kill anyone who tries to nab it if they are on your property..

With interest rates down and home values in the toilet, now is an excellent time to purchase a home. When the market finally recovers you will have the equity in your home to do a home equity loan, if you choose to do so.
