I have a fender 12 string that magically came untuned while the baby was here. As its my first one, I'm not sure how to tune it. What are the second strings tuned to?

Yeah it's one octave up. Get a chromatic tuner it will make your life much easier. Most 6 string tuners will pick up the 2nd string.

The last two strings (B and high E) are tuned to the same pitch as each other.

Fender 12 string was the 1st guitar I bought new.

I have 4 guitars. I have a Fender 6, 12, a washburn lyon electric 6, and my Dads old guitar, a Yamaha Eterna. He found it totally destroyed and put it back together into one of the best sounding guitars I've ever heard. Since his death I dont let anyone else play it but me.

Right now I have 3 guitars a Fender 12 String Dreadnaught style, everyone whos ever played it absolutely loves it. A Simon-Patric Luither 6 string which has proven to be troublesome at times, I just had it adjusted so it's playable again. Also have an Aria Pro II which is just your run of the mill strat clone.

Used to own an Ovation Acoustic as well as a Guild. Had a Bently somewhere in there.

Really miss that Ovataion and REALLY miss the Guild.

I've owned quite a few, including a custom painted generic that I did in High School. It was green with vines that looked like tiger stripes, and my initials ingraved in the neck plate. Had to sell it. If anyone from tulsa sees that guitar, tell the owner I'd like to buy it back! I also had a Oscar Schmidt acoustic (wasnt that all they made anyway?)
