Tool and AFI are popular. AFI have gone platinum, close to it. And tool has gone platinum. Older AFI is very good. Tool is amazing. Good choices.

Good to see some good recommendations.
Dillenger may not be for everyone but they are definately one of my favs.
same for coheed and cambria, juliana theory, and mars volta.
Mt 2 cents will be : Paulson and The plot to blow up the eiffel tower. Paulson= Kinda punky but they have a synth and some musical training it sounds like. The plot is punk with heavy jazz and funk influences. ROCK ON

3. Turbonegro (death-punk, these guys are so funny)
4. Menace (they rock so damn much)
5. The Undertones
Oh and I'm sorry but I have to say this, CRASS blows massive ***!
And for a good times check out Gil Mantera's Party Dream, some really funny stuff.

HEH Bam was not a film student, he's a fool on a skateboard that made it big. I get togther with him a few times a year for some of his "outings" I'm really glad the band did not get big, that would have ruined them. I remember when CKY was known as OIL , **** that was a long time ago
