Prepare yourself for the fact that every aspect of your life will be touched and changed by this.

Being a good father means (as Jims said) being there for Mom & baby thru thick and thin. And mom WILL be a handful at times I promise ya To say nothing of the sprocket.

My boys are 3 & 1, but it is easy to see how they look to me for guidance & support already. Sometimes it's scary, most of the time it's a rush.

Kids take you on a rollercoaster, the highs are so high theres no oxygen, the lows are as low as you have ever been. Easily the hardest & most wonderful thing I have ever done

Be strong for for her & for the sprocket but take the time out to enjoy them.
Well put. My first one slowed me down a whole lot. We were clubbers back then. Home was just a place to sleep. Every weekend we were out until the sun rose then we went home to sleep it off. If we were not clubbing we were away. Florida has lots of cool places to visit we saw a lot of them. Once the little guy came along we became more grounded. Money got tight as we decided that mom would stay home with him so there went my FB I had to sell it because we could not afford to keep it on the road anymore.

Our newest addition isn't such a shock. The first one freaked me out. The only thing I wish I had was more time to spread around. I really LOVE motorsports and have to really limit myself sometimes skippinf 2 or 3 months at a time before I race again. I love my family more so the motorsports take a back seat at times.

Babies are awesome. Its so cool watchng them change and grow.

I am loving our little 2 month old he is so freaking cool. Its awesome to see how much fun my 10 y/o has with him too.

Good luck to you and your girldfriend.

Robbomaz - You nailed it too. The wife becomes somewhat loopy as her hormones go back to normal. Try to remember that and be patient with her. It goes a long way to keep a cool head.
