Unhappy

ok im going to be picking up a 7 for like 375 with a perfect tranny, OK exterior( a little surface cancer next to the doorhandles, a 4.10 rear, and no motor. should i:

A.) pick up a daily beater. strip out the $375 fc. sand it all down and maybe a front bumper or something and get new paint. get miscilaneous engine parts( pineapple sleeves, koyo etc..) then drop my motor in and swap over whatever parts i need from the wrecked one and sell whatever i dont need from that one. while using a beater to have a job. that means not having my 7 for a little while and having better gas mileage.

B.)immediately drop my motor in the $375 fc. pick up used radiator and oil cooler(whatever i need to make it run that got damaged in the accident). drive the 375 fc and at the same time take my my damaged one and straighten the body. weld new custom braces from one side to the other side while using the $375 fc as a guide for measurements etc. basically strip the red one down and sand/repaint it. when im done i'll drop my motor back in the red one and sell the white one.

the reason for B is because this is a real good deal for the white one but its a base and it doesnt have the sun roof and some other things that i liked in the red one. it would be pretty hard to sell an rx7 shell with the front end screwed and get decent money for it. i would practically have to give it away. with the white one i would be able to sell it for considerably more. sorry its so long THANX

honestly though....the only REAL damage is the mutilated front braces between each fender. and MAYBE the fender might have been pulled to the side i can prolly just pull it back..we'll see when i take the engine out

I'd buy the cheap one, then put everything in it that you want from your wrecked car. Sell the parts you can't use, and get rid of the wrecked car. Nobody will want to buy a wrecked car, and nobody will want to buy a bent-frame-that-was-straightened car. but that's just what I would do.
