Yeah, until a few days ago I never even contemplated the RX-7 as a car I'd buy. But I hafta say, it is quite stunning whatever year you get.



I've never seen one in real life, never driven one or even heard of one. I've heard a lot of praise about it's performance and handling and also looks. I've also heard horror stories about the fuel consumption and part costs, especially the rotary engine.



But above all the disadvantages, i still love this car, it's like having a sexy babe you chat with on the net, that lives too far away to meet up with.



But I will get one very soon, trust me. A Mark 2 89 or 90 turbo (series 5 if i'm correct (FC?))



And I have plans to mother it very well, and to garage it and do it up and maintain it like i've never maintained any car before, no doubt it'll be expensive.



My dreams include.... totally re-building it body wise, maybe replacing some panels with fibreglass or carbon fibre if at all possible, then prime it and then if there is such a thing, a very very shiny metal colour paint to make it look like bare metal, seen some nice bmw's without paint, just sheer nakedness, no paint or nothing... nice. The stock lights will do fine, cos they are a bit tinted already. Keep the stock spoiler, maybe add a second spoiler to the top, tint the front lights, tint the windows (d.grey), all these tints will be minimal, so as to not look silly and cheesy.



Then lower it, not too much, and put bigger wheels, in titanium colour. yum. then convert it to LPG (see my previous post about LPG, i think it's quite self-explanatory in the UK). Re-wire the whole car, so I learn about it and know what everything is and where all the wires are.



Then just drive it to somewhere with LOADS of girls and just sit there smiling. Any riceboy that comes, whip it's ***, and then come back.



Yum, so do any of you lot have dreams or opinions?

Opinion? : Don't try to whip every "riceboy" you see. Some will end up handing you your *****.

My dream is to never work and just lay around getting laid and fed constantly without gaining any weight or having any babies.



My opinion is get an RX7 but be realistic with your budget, etc. and you won't be disappointed.



My advice is to do what you like but listen to people who know first.
