My Old Dream For The Gto
#1
Always wanted to frame off restore it, but modernize some systems while I was at it.
Engine;
Have the block drilled for 4 bolt mains
EFI conversion
power output I would like to have would be 600hp @ like 8,000 RPM and 800ft/lbs torque at around 2,000.
exhaust with a note to die for
Drivetrain;
Triple disc
Whatever 6 speed could handle the power
4:10 rear with a limited slip
Rolling Stock;
Coilovers
massive ******* Brembos
17x10 wheels with 285s all the way around
Exterior would be some deeply *** kicking red, and I would need a nice stereo in it too.
It would make a nice cruiser for sure. And the 6 speed + EFI would let me even take it on long *** trips!
Another crazy dream I had was to design and cast a DOHC system for it. To even think about funding that I would need to be either a billionaire, or a millionaire and make copies of them to sell for other Pontiac big blocks, and how many people do you see wanting to do that?

That reminds me, back in the days of way back when, when I was still young and foolish and an admirer of American cars, I remember reading in a Hot Rod magazine about a 4-valve-per-cylinder head for the big block Chevy. It was still a pushrod system though. It used little auxiliary pushrods going across the head for the exhaust valves.
Also, much more recently, there was a guy who took a Jaguar V12 and built his own DOHC heads for it. It was installed in an XKE-based mid-engine car (which he had also built). There's a website on it somewhere . . .

LMAO, I have to have traction though! How else do you think I can do 500 foot long burnouts right now?
