You need me to come out there and rectify the situation? I could also visit my family during my stay.
Our insurance started the month after her hospital visit, I just called her and told her to have them submit it, I was thinking maybe they will cut the bills down even though they will deny the claim.

Theres nothing I can do, when you have no insurance you pay full price, when you have insurance, the insurance companies sign a deal with the hospital to only pay a certain amount per item. So where the bill is $240 for the dr to come in and talk to you, the insurance company pays something like $70. But no insurance pays $240, they kick you while your down.
Hospital charges 108
Insurance says **** that, we gotta a contract with you so we're only gonna allow 75 and pay 50.
There would be a $33 adj off and you would have to pay the difference of the 70 and 50. 15 Bucks...
Just some usless info for ya.

Actually, they sign a contract for guaranteed payment. You would still have to pay percentage, but when you have insurance, most of the charge gets adjusted due to the contract. Something like this:

75-50 = 25
70-50 = 20

I'm paying $900 for two ******* crowns today. I already got them a $200 deposit, and my dentists office said that they'd work with me so I only have to pay them $100 a month till the $700 are payed off. They won't charge me any interest rates though, cool people.

I have a dental policy that cuts all my costs in half.
I also have a MSA Medical Savings Account. I pay $400 a month into this policy. $180 goes toward my policy premium. The other $220 goes into a money market account with my name on it. After 1 year I have $2640 in my account. I have had this account for 3 years now so now I have $7920. My insurance policy is a family plan with a $5000 deductible. I have a checkbook for my money market account and write checks against it for medical expenses. If we are healthy we save up lots of money. We have used it some so there is about $6K in there.
So as of right now if something really bad happens we are covered we have our deductible in our account so no money out of pocket. Plus this money market will continue to grow and its tax deductable.
You should look into it.
