so, my buddy matt (baller520) bought a turbo off of rexman13b for $250, supposedly in good condition.

he just checked it while the gasket is being shipped, and it has so much shaft play the turbine hits the turbo housing.

so, if you want to spend $250 on a worthless turbo, then talk to rexman13b

also, i wouldn't trust any of his other crap since he lied about this...

I bought a supposed new turbo off some local guy and we met up in a parking lot when it was so ******* cold outside I was so anxious to get back in my car I didnt inspect it throughly. When I grabbed the turbo the housing felt loose and he said he was clocking it for his car and didnt tighten the bolts... so i'm like sure why not give him the dough, it did look brand new after all, hot side, everything was spotless.

I get home, start looking at it, and notice it's not the compressor housing thats loose, it's the ******* CHRA, moron loosened the wrong bolts and couldnt get it back together right, the bolts were just sitting in the holes I pulled them out with my hands, no turning required. So now I have to rebuild this 'new' turbo. there are some ******* ******** out there.

I'm not gonna name who it was yet, since I have yet to decide if I'm gonna take action.

watch out guys, don't trust anyone, especially people on the forums. It's very easy to play it up online.

Sucks that people take advantage of that.

If it goes 80,000 RPM, don't buy it used.

You can quote that if you like.

well in my case it was new he claimed to have changed hi mind on the turbo size before installing it, I recieved it in the borg warner box it was shipped to him in, he just got it. I'm guessing he realised he fucked up and unded the wrong bolts and paniced, quick, sell it to some poor bastard online.
