Im really curious as to whether my Subaru is eligable for the California Lemon Law. Basically, the driver's seat keeps coming unbolted. Its been fixed 3 times now. Ive never known anyone that had a manufacture buy back a car because it was defective, so im really curious if i have a case. If this problem keeps coming back as it has, i want a new car. Its kinda rediculous that my seat keeps falling out.

Anyone have any input?

 

What I know,

It has to be the same problem, with atleast 4 attempts made at correcting it.

Within one year or 12,000 miles. . or if it has put the vehicle out of your possesion for more than 30 days(within this year).

Let me look more. . .

That might be something that could cause serious bodily injury or death?!?

So they only get 2 cracks at repair in California.

I think time restriction is longer than 12 months to. . .but not sure.

 

yah, im wondering if a loose seat constitutes the possibility of a serious bodily injury or death. Anyone know of an attorney that they can quickly toss this question to??

 

In Ontario, my guy says hands down yes.(it should be the same there!It's a seat!)

back in 1989 my cousin had a mustang GT, there was

one TINY spot on the hatch that kept rusting, they fixed it

3 times in over a year and ended up taking the car back

and he got all his money back.



he also just gave back a 2002 Audi A6 4.2 due to a problem

with the brakes that they could not fix, once again he was

refunded his money.
